iOS 9.2 Issues
After upgrading to iOS 9.2 I have faced several issues.
In this quick blog post i will cover major issues with iOS 9.2 on my iPhone 5.
For me the biggest issue is with Apple Music and updated Music app.
Every once in a while Music app keeps displaying all music library (including iCloud) even though ‘’Show only downloaded songs’’ option is toggled. This really drives me nuts as the only workaround is to completely kill an app and launch it again for this option to work.
Another big issue for me is a problem with Personal hotspot, that allows to share your phone’s internet access via Wi-Fi. Some devices cannot connect to shared wi-fi several attempts in a row. I tried connecting my iMac 10 times in a row, and it failed.
Other early iOS 9.2 problems include issues with personal hotspot, issues with the smartcover volume display, an odd keyboard bug, various iOS 9.2 installation problems, Wi-Fi problems, issues with Calendar, clipboard issues, new Apple Music problems, Touch ID problems, and more.
If you can’t fix your iOS 9.2 problem, you have another option. If you want to downgrade to iOS 9.1 you can. For a limited time.
Apple’s signing off on iOS 9.1 which means you can drop back down to the update if you wish. Apple will probably stop signing off in a week or two so you’ll need to act quickly.
